Future of the Chairman’s Circle: Introducing the Economic Opportunity Fund
The Chairman’s Circle has long been a cornerstone of the LSCP’s mission, playing a vital role in stabilizing our organization to support businesses and communities through both prosperous and challenging economic times. From essential operations to targeted investments over the past few years, its impact has been transformative.
Now, inspired by the success of Michigan’s Competitiveness Fund in leveraging federal funding, we see an opportunity to elevate Marquette County with a similar resource. The Chairman’s Circle can evolve into a tool that helps us seize growth opportunities, attract new residents, and pursue strategic goals. Too often, local organizations miss out on outside funding due to a lack of matching resources or capacity. This new direction aims to change that.
To align with the 2024–2026 LSCP Strategic Plan and position us for future success, the Chairman’s Circle Fund will be rebranded as the Marquette County Economic Opportunity Fund. Hosted within the LSCP Foundation, the fund will continue to function similarly while embracing a name that reflects our forward-thinking approach and dedication to unlocking Marquette County’s full economic potential.
This evolution represents a significant step toward ensuring our organization remains agile and innovative, paving the way for new opportunities that benefit the entire community.
As a member of the Economic Opportunity Fund you demonstrate your commitment to Marquette County and the progress it has made through the support and dedication of it’s private-public partnership. Exclusive benefits and discounts will be available to you through this exclusive group. Your investment is tax deductible and will be applied to the LSCP Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation.
